Presidential Chronicles Full Volumes
Each Presidential Chronicles volume contains four or five presidential biographies, revealing the
essential elements of their lives in the contexts of their times. Fisher makes extensive
use of first-person quotations to help convey the inner thoughts of his subjects,
along with a broad collection of images to help bring these stories to life.
Many of the images are pulled from his vast personal collection of first edition presidential
biographies, with many dating from the era in which these men were charged to lead their nation.
The volumes shown above represent the first seven editions in the Presidential Chronicles series. As each printed volume covers the lives of four to five U.S. Presidents, the coverage
spans the dawn of the Republic under George Washington through the Civil War under
Abraham Lincoln and into the 20th Century up through the Great Depression, World War II, and the onset of the Cold War – the first 33 Presidents of the United States.
